Abstract
This Survey period (2023–2024) was relatively calmer than most years, with no significant legislation and fewer decisions from Georgia’s appellate courts addressing workers’ compensation law. Nonetheless, the courts still wrestled with factually intensive disputes on issues such as authorized treating physician releases to return to work and concurrent dissimilar employment, and with the frequent appellate issue of the exclusive remedy provision.
